Be aware that only qualified service technicians have the expertise and training to install, inspect, service, maintain, and repair propane appliances. Before the heating season begins, have your appliances inspected by a professional.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY OR REPAIR valves, regulators, connectors, controls, or other appliance/cylinder/tank parts. This increases the risk of a gas leak, which could result in serious property damage, injury, or death.
CO is a gas that you cannot smell or taste but is very dangerous. A blocked venting system or appliances that are not operating correctly could result in high levels of carbon monoxide.
CO CAN BE DEADLY. High levels can cause dizziness, sickness, and in extreme cases brain damage or death. Symptoms of CO poisoning include headache, dizziness, fatigue, shortness of breath, and nausea.

Running out of gas can be a serious safety concern and could cause hazards such as fire or explosion.
Leaks can occur when the appliance valve or gas line is left open and the system is recharged with propane.
If your tank does run out of gas, any pilot lights on your appliances will go out. This can be extremely dangerous.
A LEAK CHECK IS REQUIRED by a certified technician before the gas can be turned on.
A pilot light that repeatedly goes out or is very difficult to light could indicate a safety problem. DO NOT try to fix the problem yourself. We strongly recommend that only a qualified service technician light any pilot light that has gone out.
You risk fire or an explosion when you light the pilot yourself! You must carefully follow all manufacturer instructions and warnings before attempting to light the pilot.
